Discover the enchanting shallow grass flats and creeks of the Upper Keys on a thrilling night-time adventure of Bully Netting with Captain Lu. Learn the art of catching lobsters with a bully net and savor the satisfaction of bringing home a delicious dinner.
Bully Netting is an activity that is typically done at night because lobsters are nocturnal creatures. They are more active and easier to catch during the nighttime when they come out of their hiding spots to forage for food. Using underwater lights enhances visibility and increases your chances of spotting these elusive crustaceans in the dark waters.
Additionally, other species like sheepshead and mangrove snapper are also more active at night, making it the perfect time to target a variety of marine life while enjoying the unique experience of exploring the grass flats under the cover of darkness.
This charter begins 2 hours after sundown with a 5-hour limit. Additional hours beyond the five-hour limit are priced at $50 each.
